It all begins with an idea.
I am a proud Mexican- American who was born in California and watched my family pursue the "American Dream". My parents immigrated to America from Mexico in the early 80's. They have worked many different jobs to help support our family and allow me to succeed. My mom and dad found their way into hospitality and have never looked back. They have worked for hotels for the last 25 years and still do.
I took my first hotel job at 16 years old bussing tables at a business Marriott hotel on the weekends. I worked 20-25 hours a week while attending high school. At first, my interest was in Food & Beverage. I worked my way from busser to Food and Beverage Director.
My skills in good food and good wine helped me find one of my best friends who just so happens to now be my wife. She is a Director of Sales and together we have learned how important guest experiences are in the overall financial future of a hotel.
I took a large opportunity to help open a hotel as the Director of Rooms where I toned my skills in housekeeping. I learned the necessary skills to recruit, train, and build an award winning team. As Assistant General Manager, I have received 5 Hilton Outstanding's on Quality Assurance, helped grow RevPar, increased profit and maintained a professional, trained and reliable staff.
